Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC 13) executives, Board of Directors and management recently attested to the unprecedented success of the country's undisputed no.1 most watched primetime TV program "Janella in Wonderland," the phenomenal fantaserye top-billed by IBC 13's very own 15-yar-old teen star Janella Salvador as one of the government-sequestered network's original concepts, as it did not only boost the ratings performance of the network but also contributed in the double-digit growth in airtime revenues that began in July.

“Janella’s fantasy is turning out to be the biggest surprise hit and continues to capture the hearts of primetime TV viewers nationwide.,” remarked Tessie Taylor, IBC’s head of sales and marketing department.

According to IBC finance manager Dave Fugoso, advertising revenues show signs of strengthening in the first half of the year after regaining commercial and Channel 13 is very earning because of the network’s top-rating shows like “Janella in Wonderland.” He said, “We’re also experiencing double-digit growth in terms of airtime starting March and if we can sustain this by the end of the month, we may exceed P1 billion, for making state-owned IBC the undisputed no.3 TV station nationwide.”

“Oh yes, we’re very happy because the ratings are constantly improving and on the rise. Si Janella, dubbed as the Primetime Princess of IBC, in “Janella in Wonderland,” you can see na happy at tuwang-tuwa sila sa ginagawa nila and you can feel this as you watch their shows. We expect naman to zoom to the greatest heights overnight, we think we’re building up our own audience.”

This can be viewed as a significant leap for IBC because it shows that the network is indeed a strong third contender and that it is attracting more viewers who welcome IBC 13's programming innovations that is very different from the shows of the two giant networks. Among the expected well-wishers of the Janella and IBC President and CEO Lito Ocampo Cruz, who has been credited for bringing the fantaserye.
