IBC-13's leadership in the local broadcasting scene once again proven as adjudged the Best Television Station in the recent 21st Annual KBP Golden Dove Awards. IBC has garnered the most number of awards this year 2013 for the television and radio in sequestered by the government.

Eric Canoy, one of the network's chairman of IBC management, won as the KBP Lifetime Achievement Award. Czarinah Lusuegro, one of IBC's field reporter, won in the Best TV Newscaster.

The network's efforts as the country's premier news organization recognized when the IBC's flagship news program Express Balita won as The Best Newscast, which was produced by the IBC news team. A children's program KapinoyLand, which is kiddies of Mr. Kapinoy as the mascot characters, awarded as Best Children's Program. TG Kintanar, one of the respected IBC News and Public Affairs personalities was also given to the most prestigious Best Male Newscaster in recognition of her accomplishments in the broadcasting field. A Filipino culture Cooltura, also won as the Best Educational Program and the Pat Natividad, also won to the Best Educational Program Host. An interactive danze music Danze sa TV (simulcast over iDMZ 891), wins as the most-watched Best Variety Program for TV.

The quality of The Kapinoy Network's top-rating Viva's local entertainment productions was also recognized with several awards Viva-TV programs won in three categories: popular basketball PBA won the Best Sports Program for TV. A long-running talent search Born to be a Star got the Best Talent Program for TV. Christopher de Leon's Who Wants to be a Millionaire, which is the Channel 13's consistent on the top-rater, has also garnered as the Best Game Show for TV. A certified singing champion Anja Aguilar she got the Best Talent Program Host.

In radio, DZTV Radyo Budyong 1386 has the catrgories are: Radyo Budyong Balita Alas-Dose, won is the Best Radio News Program (Metro Manila).

Meanwhile, IBC's popular FM radio iDMZ 891 won the Best FM Radio Station award. The Sting (Terence Khan) was also adjudged the Best Disc Jockey. iDMZ's roster of award-winning DJs include The Unbeatable (Andy Santillan), DJ Ouch (Lopie Guzman), Nicole (Nicole Anderson), The Force (Neil Centeno), The Destroyer (Rommel Dayan), The Sting (Terence Khan), Marc the Spark, ZJ Ziggy, Peewee (Peewee Wenceslao), DJ Kaye (Kaye Tan), DJ Blare (Bernadette Camalig), DJ Alfie (Alfie Manuel) and others.
