MANILA, Philippines — TV5 Network Inc. is making its digital TV box offering more affordable to enable more Filipino households nationwide to experience high-definition viewing.

TV5 said the Sulit TV Box offers viewers with a high definition immersive experience plus improved audio and video performance at a price of P780 per unit.

The digital TV box holds the lowest price in the market for HD quality TV viewing and top-notch entertainment for audiences of all ages.

“All these for no monthly fee, the best value to experience the revolutionary digital terrestrial television technology, which is a major advancement over traditional analog TV that could be received only by antenna,” TV5 said.

The Sulit TV Box, powered by TV5, was launched in September last year.

It is available in key cities in Metro Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Bataan, Batangas, Cavite Bulacan, Cebu, Iloilo, La Union, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Pangasinan, and Rizal. It will also be made available to more areas soon.

ABS-CBN launched its TVplus box in 2015, while IBC launched its own digital terrestrial television receiver called Digibox in 2016, while RPN launched its own digital terrestrial television receiver called Digivisionbox in 2019, and GMA introduced its own digital terrestrial television receiver called Affordabox in 2020.
