Sentro Balita (Filipino word for "news center") is the afternoon newscast of the People's Television Network in the Philippines. It airs from Weekdays at 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (PST). It is anchored by Angelique Lazo and Alex Santos.

HistoryEdit

Sentro Balita premiered on July 10, 2017 at 1:00pm, replacing PTV News (Afternoon Edition) as part of programming changes brought by about the relaunch of PTV on June 28, 2017. Former Teledyaryo anchor Angelique Lazo who returned to the network after 5 years of hiatus and PTV News holdover Alex Santos, joining them in one newscast, with Jutt Sulit (PTV InfoWeather), JM Encinas (Traffic Watch), Atty. Persida Rueda-Acosta (Tapang ng Batas), Dennis Principe (PTV Sports) and Princess Habibah Sarip-Paudac (Salaam News).

On September 11, 2017, Daily Info  Sentro Balita, Ulat Bayan and PTV News Headlines will be using the full stand-up news delivery. These anchors are now standing with a large screen at their back.
