IBC-13 owner Eric Canoy has a strong number 3 television network in the country, thanks to Boots Anson-Roa, the president and CEO of the network, for about P13 million of privatization through PCGG government appointed by the president Benigno Noynoy Aquino III in the curent PNoy administration.

In the government sequestered in PCGG privatization to make IBC-13, a major player in the network war dominated by ABS-CBN, owned by the Lopez family and GMA Network, owned by the Gozun, Duavit and Jimenez families. The new IBC is expected to the mass-based market in the local mass media while iDMZ 891 will target the middle-class and upper-class of A-B-C markets. ABS-CBN and GMA focus on income markets, which lap up local comedies, the soap operas on teleseryes, asianovelas and telenovelas, drama anthologies, animes, game shows, reality shows, and variety shows. The Kapinoy Network may win auds with the primetime programming block, including PBA and NBA games will doing a viewership TV ratings performance from the established popular shows. IBC has 40 TV stations, 18 radio stations and 100 cable TV affiliates.
