Sunday Funday is a teen-oriented musical variety show that is aired on . The show premiered on April 8, 2012 and aired every Sunday afternoon in the Philippines, replacing Hey it's Saberdey!. The show is presented by its main hosts AJ Muhlach, Nadine Lustre, Josh Padilla, Shy Carlos, Aki Torio and Meg Imperial. [1][2][3][4][5] It aired its last episode on June 10, 2012 and replaced by Game 'N Go on June 17, 2012.
About the show
Sunday Funday is a "sudnay is the official funday" show, according to the Creative and Entertainment Production of TV5 and the show's new Creative and Entertainment head, Perci Intalan. Through an interview via Showbiz Aksyon in Aksyon, AJ Muhlach stated that Sunday will entire the official funday focusing on giving more fun in kids and teens.
The show was relaunched and premiered on April 8, 2012 as a result the replacement of Hey it's Saberdey!. AJ Muhlach, Nadine Lustre, Josh Padilla, Shy Carlos, Aki Torio and Meg Imperial promoted as the main hosts, along with Sarah TV teens led by Julia Barretto, Eugene Herrera, Iñigo Pascual and Aubrey Caraan as their co-hosts and performers. Together with Joshua Davis, BJ Forbes, John Uy, Christian Samson and Rico dela Paz promoted as the male group dance numbers. Al Quinn as director, Wado Siman as writters and Faye Martel as executive producers.
The show had introduced their new theme song "Sunday Funday Song" performed by Sunday Funday cast and broadcast live at TV5 Broadway Centrum in New Manila, Quezon City.
