The long wait is finally over. TV5’s much talked about noontime show was relaunched on last February 18 and finally debuts this coming June 16.
“Game ‘N Go” is slated for a noontime slot to compete with the TV ratings of Eat Bulaga! and It's Showtime!, but unlike its counterparts this show promises to serve a buffet of treats for everyone. Instead of your run-of-the-mill noontime variety program, “Game N Go” takes the elements of a variety show, game show, and comedy sketch show.
Industry veterans Edu Manzano and Joey de Leon are together for the first time ever, leading the program as its “game makers.” Supporting them are Arnell Ignacio, Gelli de Belen, Eugene Domingo and Shalani Soledad-Romulo as “game keepers.”
“Game ‘N Go” will feature original games like “True or Fall,” “Singgaling Go,” “Yugyug Tube,” “Pritong Pares,” “Game ‘N GOcery” and the famous international game “Face It.” These games will allow participating studio audiences and home viewers to win big prizes. Contestants are in for a real high-stakes game with “True or Fall,” while those who consider themselves in tune will definitely be in for a challenge with “Singgaling Go.” On the other hand, a few minutes inside the “Yugyug Tube” will surely test the participants’ sense of balance. Conquering “Face It” will prove a feat for those afraid to conquer the giggles. Aside from the fun games and wacky contestants, viewers should also tune in for the live musical performances and entertaining sketches from celebrity guests.
